Available for sale is a used RIX Industries 4VX4BG-17.5 4-stage oil-free helium compressor with a 40 HP motor, rated for 60 SCFM and a pressure range of 50 PSIG inlet to 3,300 PSIG discharge. This compressor includes a control panel and is designed for 100% continuous duty operation. Known for its rugged modular design, RIX 4VX series compressors offer reliable performance and flexibility for a wide range of gas applications. This is one of two identical units potentially available — this listing represents the specific unit shown in the photos.

Performance: Inlet pressure 50 PSIG to discharge 3,300 PSIG, 60 SCFM flow capacity, 40 HP power rating, 250–750 RPM operating speed range.

Gas Compatibility: Helium (He). The RIX 4VX series is also compatible with Argon, Hydrogen, Oxygen, Nitrogen, CNG, and other gas compositions.

Compression Stages: 4-stage oil-free compression with air-cooled heat exchangers, modular cylinder design, and a pressure-lubricated crankcase (uses standard automotive engine oil).

Cylinder Size & Stroke: 0.5"–5.5" diameter cylinders with 4" stroke.

Condition:

The compressor is missing two cylinders, two heads, and two valves (stages 2 & 3). The motor turns freely with no issues. Please review all photos for the exact condition of the unit.

Dimensions & Weight:

Bare unit measures 41” W x 54” L x 36” H (approx. 750 lbs with flywheel). Typical packaged dimensions are 46” W x 88” L x 43” H with total weight between 2,000–3,000 lbs.

Pre-purchase inspections are welcomed during normal business hours upon appointment scheduled in advance. We would be happy to provide a complimentary transportation pick up from DFW Airport and back if you want to fly in and see/send someone to inspect the item in person. In addition, we can do FaceTime / Teams/Zoom calls to go over the item in person for any domestic /international procurement. Please be mindful that we are in Dallas and therefore are on the US Central Time (CT) for any communication arrangements.

Shipping Arrangements: The unit is in our yard, South of Dallas, Texas. We can assist with shipping arrangements, and when properly scheduled, we will provide loading service at no additional charge.

Payment: Payment in full FOB for our yard in South Dallas is required for equipment procurement. We prefer to see /meet the purchaser to ensure we can provide adequate after-sales support to set your project up for success. We will require a verifiable Cashier check as a payment if you are planning to come in person. We will require a wire transfer in full, with the transaction cleared in the company account, before releasing the equipment to any 3rd party shipper companies.
