Solid mid-capacity unit suited for laser assist gas, plant nitrogen or argon supply, or backup high-pressure gas applications. The Trifecta X10 eliminates the need for high-pressure pumps, compressors, cylinder cradles, and surge tanks by drawing liquid from a standard low-pressure bulk tank and boosting it to high-pressure gas output through Chart's proven twin-cylinder pressure-switching logic.

This is a used unit in inspected condition, confirmed 500 PSI service configuration (solenoid valve equipped), ready for deployment.

Key Features

Twin-cylinder design with automatic pressure-building and assist logic provides continuous high-pressure output with zero downtime between cylinder cycles. When the primary cylinder pressure drops, the secondary cylinder assists automatically — no operator intervention required.

Chart PLC-based control panel includes built-in diagnostics, error codes, cycle counter, and alert system. Pressure set points, fill levels, and bulk critical pressure are all field-adjustable from the front panel.

No pumps or compressors required. The system draws liquid from a standard low-pressure bulk tank and boosts to delivery pressure using ambient pressure-building coils — lower maintenance and lower operating cost than pump-based systems.

Used condition, 500 PSI service confirmed via on-skid piping schematic placard. Solenoid valve equipped.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does this unit include a vaporizer?

No. The Trifecta X10 delivers high-pressure liquid to an external vaporizer; final vaporization happens downstream. A separate ambient vaporizer rated for at least 600 PSIG is required and sold separately. We can assist sourcing as we distribute our own new and also carry used vaporizers.

Do I need a pump or compressor with this system?

No. That's one of the primary advantages of the Trifecta design. The twin-cylinder pressure-building circuit eliminates the need for high-pressure pumps, compressors, cylinder cradles, and surge tanks.

What bulk tank does this connect to?

Any standard low-pressure LIN or LAR bulk tank with a liquid use valve and 3/4" NOM minimum liquid line. The system reads bulk tank pressure automatically through a pre-wired transmitter — no additional customer piping required for that signal.

How does the twin-cylinder switching work?

One cylinder builds pressure and supplies gas to the vaporizer while the other refills from the bulk tank. When the primary cylinder can no longer maintain pressure, the secondary cylinder assists automatically. The system cycles continuously with no downtime between switches.

Is this unit ready to run after purchase?

This system is being sold as is and was working at time of decommissioning.

What gases can this unit handle?

This unit is configured for Liquid Nitrogen (LIN) and Liquid Argon (LAR) service at 500 PSIG MAWP. It is not rated for LOX (liquid oxygen) service at this pressure class.

Where is the unit located and how does shipping work?

The unit is in our yard south of Dallas, Texas. We can assist with shipping arrangements and provide loading at no additional charge when properly scheduled. Payment in full FOB our yard is required prior to release to any third-party shipper.

Inspection and Purchase

Pre-purchase inspections are welcomed during normal business hours by appointment. We are happy to provide complimentary transportation from DFW Airport for buyers flying in to inspect in person. FaceTime, Teams, and Zoom walkthroughs are available for domestic and international buyers.

Payment in full FOB our yard in South Dallas is required. We accept verified cashier's check for in-person transactions and wire transfer (funds cleared) prior to release for third-party shipper pickups.
