This Applied Cryo Technologies (ACT) horizontal bulk liquid hydrogen (LH2) storage tank, Model LH2-100-175-P-H, has a 10,900-gallon gross cold volume and a maximum allowable working pressure (MAWP) of 175 PSIG. Built to ASME Section VIII, Division 1 and CGA 341 / CGA H-3 requirements, the tank features a vacuum-jacketed liquid discharge with dual sets of pump ports, GH2 supply to compressors, and automated pressure building and relieving. The unit utilizes ACT Super Insulation (SI) with vacuum-insulated construction and has a normal evaporation rate (NER) of 1% per day.
